About this course
The test is designed to allow the candidate to demonstrate basic engineering skills in fitting, assembly and electrical maintenance. No instruction is given and the candidate must complete all tasks for assessment on his or her own.
Students should allow five days for the tasks to be scheduled and completed in our engineering workshops.
“As an engineer, it is great to be able to learn from chief engineers who have been in the maritime business for many years. For any question asked, an answer is always given, as the combined experience of all the lectures at the academy is countless.”
Daniel Springer, Chief Engineer (Yachts)
