About this course
This one-day course provides theory and practical training in the use of emergency breathing system (EBS) equipment (also referred to as ‘rebreather’ equipment) and is combined with helicopter underwater escape training (HUET).
The course provides basic working knowledge of emergency procedures in self-rescue techniques following a helicopter ditching, and using an emergency breathing system.
The certificate is valid for four years after which further HUET with EBS training can be undertaken to maintain the validity of the training.
