This course combines training in the use of the automated external defibrillator (AED) and in the administration of oxygen, which are usually delivered as two separate courses.
The course is designed for seafarers who may be required to provide casualty care on board ship when oxygen is required; and includes resuscitation skills using an AED.
It is delivered on board ship over a six hour period.
The course includes a review of on board equipment.
On completion delegates will receive an oxygen administration and an AED certificate.
